LeadDyno offers a fully customizable, automated system for running an affiliate program and tracking where your visitors, leads, and sales are coming from. In this article, we'll guide you through all the key steps you need to get your affiliate program up and running with LeadDyno, and offer some additional tips you may want to consider along the way.
6 Steps To Launch Your LeadDyno Affiliate Program
Step 1: Connect Your Site
The first step, once you've created an account, is to connect your site with LeadDyno. There are several ways to connect LeadDyno to your platform, depending on your e-commerce platform or website provider. Check which approach is right for your business here.
Step 2: Create Reward Structures
In order to compensate your affiliates, it's crucial to set up Reward Structures. These structures allow you to create commission plans tailored to various parameters, such as specific time periods, sales percentages, fixed amounts, and even multi-tiered affiliate programs. Learn more about setting up Reward Structures here.
Step 3: Configure Affiliate Settings
Within LeadDyno, we offer several configurable Affiliate Settings, including Source Tracking (i.e., First Affiliate Wins), Coupon Code Tracking, Tracking Length, Frequency, and more. You'll want to go over the settings and customize them to meet your affiliate program needs. Learn more about Affiliate Settings here.
Step 4: Customize Your Affiliate Website
LeadDyno provides you with a fully customizable Affiliate Website. New affiliates can sign up on this website, and existing affiliates can login to access their Affiliate Dashboard, where they can monitor their progress and grab their affiliate link.

Step 5: Add Affiliates
Should you move affiliates over from an existing program, you'll have the chance to create affiliates individually (via the + Create Affiliate button on the Manage Affiliates screen). Creating new affiliates is simple and efficient, and will create a new custom affiliate dashboard for each affiliate you add. Or, lean on us to import larger volumes of affiliates. If you have affiliates you'd like our help importing, simply follow these steps and we would be happy to assist.
Note: Once you start adding affiliates, you'll want to consider how you have your affiliates grouped - whether it be geographically, or by affiliate type (i.e. Ambassadors vs Influencers). Leverage LeadDyno's Affiliate Group functionality to ensure you have your affiliates properly grouped in order to take advantage of commission plans by group - giving you all the customizations you need around recognizing different types of affiliates.
Step 6: Share Your Affiliate Website Link
Once you have the above steps completed, you've got the basis of your affiliate program ready to launch. You should consider starting your promotion by sharing your affiliate program sign up link with your customers, targeted affiliates, or on social media. You can grab your Affiliate Website link from the top-right corner, right before the search icon.
Note: On the bottom left of the app's home screen, you'll see a Get Started Checklist. Use this checklist to ensure you've got everything in place as you prepare your program for launch.
Other Setup Considerations
Create Social Content For Your Affiliates
Set your affiliates up for success by sharing social media material with your affiliates. LeadDyno allows you to create content for your affiliates to broadcast via social networks, email, and the Internet. You can authorize this content in the Content section of LeadDyno, and it will be broadcasted from the sharing buttons on your affiliate's website.
In addition, you can use the Affiliate Content section of LeadDyno to add additional content for the affiliate to share (e.g., banners, additional tweets or Facebook posts, etc.)
Customize Automated Affiliate Emails
LeadDyno’s Automated Affiliate Emails provide an easy way to stay in touch with and motivate your affiliates. Additionally, you can use Affiliate Newsletters to share fresh content and maintain their interest.
Turn Customers Into Affiliates

Nurture Affiliates, Leads, Customers and Cancellations
With LeadDyno, you can engage your different audiences, whether they're affiliates, leads, customers, or even cancellations. Establish a seamless flow of automatic emails triggered after a specific number of days, crafting a series that nurtures and maintains your connection with those who matter most to you.
Note: If you're looking to make your LeadDyno emails a true extension of your brand, consider sending these emails from your own server using SMTP.
Manage & Pay Your Affiliates
LeadDyno allows you to pay your affiliates in various ways: online via PayPal, bulk pay using PayPal MassPay, or manually via check or money order.
AdWords Tracking
The same tracking technology that LeadDyno uses for affiliate tracking can be used to optimize your AdWords spend. Which campaigns are producing the most leads? The most purchases? The fewest cancellations or refunds? Understanding this is easy when you use LeadDyno tracking with AdWords.
Email List Tracking
Another common online marketing channel is via email lists. By using a LeadDyno Tracking Campaign for each paid email placement you purchase, you can see end-to-end click, lead, purchase, and cancellation information, allowing you to target successful email lists and abandon poor ones.
CRM Integration
LeadDyno integrates with most common CRM applications as a lead generation front end, pushing lead source information into ZohoCRM or Hubspot. If you use other online marketing tools, we’ve probably got an integration for you as well.
