Add The LeadDyno Plugin To Your WordPress Installation
Log into your WordPress admin dashboard. Once logged in, click the Plugins option from the left menu.
On the top right of the page, type "leaddyno" into the Search installed plugins… box and press enter.
The plugin will not be found because it has not been installed yet, so click the Search for plugins in the WordPress Plugin Directory link.
From the search results, select the Install Now button from the LeadDyno WordPress Plugin box.
After the plugin is installed, you then need to click the Activate button.
The plugin is now installed and will appear in the installed plugins list. You now need to configure the plugin with your LeadDyno public and private API keys. Click the Settings link.
Insert your LeadDyno Public key into the Public Key field, and your Private key into the Private Key field, and then click Update LeadDyno Settings.
To get your LeadDyno public and private keys, visit the Account - Profile page in the LeadDyno application. That’s it! LeadDyno is now configured on your website to track visitors and leads. If your WordPress site is WooCommerce-enabled, it will also capture purchases and upload the purchase information to your LeadDyno account.
Advanced Settings
Domain: The recommended setting is to leave this blank. Overrides your website URL. Typically used only when you have a subdomain. Contact us with any questions.
Ignore Admin users: If you are using a caching plugin, such as W3 Total Cache or WP-Supercache, please ensure it is configured to NOT use the cache for logged-in users. Otherwise, admin users will still be tracked.
Enable PayPal Purchase Tracking: If you use PayPal for purchases, enable this option to automatically track those purchases in LeadDyno.
Disable Auto Watch: If the autoWatch() JavaScript API is interfering with other scripts, enable this option to turn it off.
Known Issues / Limitations
We recommend disabling express checkout options (such as Google Pay, ShopPay, and Amazon Pay), as purchases made through express checkout will be tracked, but the affiliate referral most likely won't. This is because the express checkout forms are hosted in iframes that JavaScript can't access, so the LeadDyno code can not interact with them and ensure the lead is tracked when the purchase is made.
