This feature is available only for Essential, Advanced, and Unlimited customers.
Add custom fields to the signup form to gather more details about potential affiliates. Custom fields will appear on the affiliate signup page as shown in the image below. By default, "First Name", "Last Name", and "Email" will be displayed.
To get started, go to Affiliates Dashboards and select the affiliate dashboard you want to edit. Click on the more options button (represented by the three dots), then choose the edit option. From there, click on "Custom Fields" in the left menu. Then, on the new view, you will need to click on the "+ New Custom Field" button.
Enter the name of the custom field, then select the field type (boolean, date, email, numeric—you can choose decimal or integer, text, or website). If the field should be required, check the "Required?" checkbox. After completing all the steps, click on "Save".
Once affiliates have signed up for your program, the custom fields will display on their affiliate detail page.
Require First/Last name
If you want to require first/last name in the signup form, please go to Affiliates Dashboards and select the affiliate dashboard you wish to edit. In the "Additional Settings" section, you will find the option "Require First & Last Name". Please ensure that this option is selected.
Request or Require PayPal email address
If you want to require or request the PayPal email address on the signup form, follow the same steps as you did for "Require First & Last Name." In the "Additional Settings" section, check the options "Request PayPal email address on Signup Form" and "Require PayPal email address on Signup Form."
