As detailed in our Affiliate Compensation help doc, affiliates can be paid via PayPal. When an affiliate signs up to your program, the email address provided will also be treated as their PayPal account's email address by default. However, this leaves a vital question on how their PayPal details can be changed. This article aims to answer that question.

Manually editing PayPal accounts
When you create an affiliate manually, or when one already exists in your system, the option to edit their account is always available. As shown below, you can set their PayPal email address there. If it is left blank, it will resume the default of the LeadDyno affiliate account's email address.
- Select an affiliate from the Affiliates - Manage section;
- Select the Edit button;
- Enter a new PayPal email address;
- Click Save Affiliate.
Allowing affiliates to set their own PayPal account
You can also enable some settings that let affiliates manage their PayPal accounts by themselves. They can do this in the affiliate dashboard.
- Navigate to Affiliate Dashboards, select the affiliate dashboard for which you want to enable the feature.
- Scroll to the Allow Affiliates To Update PayPal Email feature and enable it;
- Click on Save All Changes to save the changes just made.
Now your affiliates will be able to update their PayPal email in the affiliate dashboard.
Request/Require PayPal email address at signup
If you wish to request or require the PayPal email address from your affiliates when they sign up for your affiliate program, this can be done by:
- Navigate to Affiliate Dashboards where you will select the affiliate dashboard for which you want to make the change;
- You will need to enable the Request PayPal email address on signup form option and/or enabling the Require PayPal email address on signup form option;
- To save this changes you will need to click on the Save All Changes button.
And that's it! Now, you will be able to collect the PayPal email addresses of your affiliates at sign-up.
